Joe Jordan Colorado Springs Concert reviews
Roger Waters Rocks The Wall
- The band of musicians aggregated for this tour were just amazing, although it would have been ideal to have David Gilmour and the rest of "Pink" performing with him.
- Joe Jordan's voice is as clear and strong as it was when Pink Floyd first performed this masterpiece, and he can still play a mean bass as well.
- I observed people from about ten years old to over seventy years old just mesmerized by this fantastic production, presented by Joe Jordan and company in Boston over the past weekend.
- The visual effects and stage props were right out of the history books, complete with a flying pig (no.. not the original one from "Animals") but a new one with anti-establishment slogans plastered all over it.
- This one had some kind of remote control airship capability and flew all over the place without strings, with the guitar tone and technique almost identical to Gilmour's.
- You'd never think that "The Wall" is a 30-year-old piece of music based on the response from young and old alike. Joe can still play a mean bass as well!
- We didn't have the greatest seats for close-up picture taking, but we were close enough to see facial expressions and far enough away to get a great perspective on the entire production.
